Suicide Bombers

I do believe that Suicide is a sin and it will send you to hell. But my question are the "Suicide Bombers" actually commiting suicide or creating martrydom?

I swing back in forth with this one, I belive it's a compromising position. I feel the people trying to resist America have the right to defend their homeland in the name of Allah. I don't really believe that there are terrorist against one another just against Allah. I also feel like suicide bombers are the best was to influtrate the enemy and are the only hopes to ward off the attack. So it is a difficult idea to think about.

I'm sure other people have a strong head opinion about this so Holla.

i believe that partially i agree but i can tell you in my personal opinion NO suicide bombers are commiting suicide because as much as they are defending their country they are killing their own people by the hoards... so really i believe suicide is a sin but i also think that suicide bombers are doing the same as someone that is slitting their wrists.

That's True, It's a pretty big deal to kill another Muslim or any innocent person. I guess Allah knows best. Just pray all this hating stops.

i can understand it in wartime when defending oneself or the oppressed. especially when countries are being attacked by larger more technologically advanced countries. the other alternative could just be death. of course no innocent non military people should be injured. i think it makes good sense if used properly, and of course every situation is different and needs to be evaluated.

yup, well i guess violence is only ok if you are fighting other soldiers and they are attacking you and you are fighting in the cause of Allah. it's just a very narrow space where we can use violence, but in an everday situation if someone disses islam or Allah it's not ok but you should use words to defend at the apropriate times but not always only when your words will have an effect because they are dissing out of ignorance not hate.
